I REALLY suggest going to a doctor and asking about physical therapy to help strengthen the Achilles depending on how much pain you're in.. As with all turns, make sure that your arms are in line and timed correctly! It seems to me that it's especially important with fouettes so you don't throw off your balance. Also, make sure that your leg always is in front of you at the same spot where you are spotting.

a-ballet-blog asked: For the person wanting to know how to clean pointes: you can put Calamine lotion over the dirty spots, you can also wipe it off with a dry cloth. Just make sure you never get them wet or they will change shape. Hope that helps!
