resque2 asked: My friend had os trigonom. She didn't get a surgery, although that was a possibility for her. She had to undergo physical therapy and she couldn't dance for a month. I don't know how severe anon's os trigonum is, but surgery might have to be the route. I don't think any exercises you can do on your own will do much help... Talk to your doctor about any other possibility...

First, try doing straight relevees. You want your foot to hit the retiree position as quick as possible and you want a strong relevee position. Make sure your core is engaged and don't start in a static position. "Melt" into the plie - Make it continuous and don't stop because you'll end up with a jerky and out of control pirouette.
